How early should I arrive and what do I need to bring for a Spa treatment?

Arrive about 15 minutes before your first appointment to give yourself ample time to check in, change, familiarize yourself with the spa and take advantage of our sauna.

The Aqua Pearl Day Spa provides you with robes and slippers for your comfort and convenience. All spa services include change time.

Should I avoid the Day Spa if I am pregnant?

Not at all, though you may want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and heat such as sauna, hydrotherapy and body wraps.

You should avoid any treatment or massage for the first trimester, but after that you may want to take advantage of pre-natal massage.

 

Do I have to disrobe entirely for a Spa treatment?

You may wear under garments if this would be more comfortable for you. However, keep in mind that our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times, and you might not be able to take full advantage of the treatments if you use undergarments.

 

What is the tipping policy?

Gratuities are not included in the price of your treatments. In appreciation for service, gratuities may be left at your discretion. Gratuities of 15-20% are customary.

What are the rules of spa etiquette?

Arrive early. Arriving late is a breach of etiquette and will cheat you out of precious minutes of your spa experience. Remember that your treatment will end on time so that the next client is not delayed, regardless of how late you start.

Respect other guests. The Day Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation for all of our clients.

Please turn off all cell phones and pagers, and keep in mind that we cannot accommodate children during your visit.

We strongly recommend that you book your spa services in advance. We adhere to our cancellation policy so if you must reschedule or cancel an appointment, please advise us 24 hours in advance.
